Holden bodied 1930 Austin 7 Fabric saloon

 Clementine is a rare survivor.
Yes, that is just fabric covering the wood framed body. So it is no great surprise that these cars did not often last long.

Holden started out in Australia as a coachbuilder, making bodies for cars imported as a scuttle and chassis. This I understand was a government scheme to increase local business opportunities. That idea sure worked! Holden is now a huge car manufacturer. Lets hope they can keep the business going strong right here in Australia...
